Yvonne Craig is an artist, a freelance graphic designer, an author and an illustrator based in Los Angeles, California where she lives with her husband and three daughters.
Some of the most memorable and cherished family times were associated with books. Teaching the girls letters and words and reading at bedtime were magical moments our family still remembers vividly.
Some family favorites included Dr. Seuss, Just a Little Critter series, Guess How Much I Love You, Love You Forever, Winnie the Pooh and so many more. Books were everywhere and a big part of her family’s life.
When COVID hit, it was the perfect time for Yvonne to turn her career in Graphic Design to children’s books so she could bring joy to other families while also teaching kids important lessons. The entire family jumped in to share ideas and review the books before publication. It has become a family project!
Her books include beautiful bright colors and adorable characters that kids often have to look for on every page. It started with hiding Pokey the Snail and grew to other hidden characters kids have fun looking for. The books become a game that children love to play over and over and build on that fun, Yvonne created a couple of activity books based on the characters.
When Yvonne is not writing and drawing, she loves to exercise, hike and travel all over the world with her family.
